Togeo Music 2009 Opens
In 2008 we established Togeo Music as the in-house music label for Togeo Studios artists and music productions. The start-up independent netlabel spent its first year living on the Togeo Studios music production website while our catalog of albums and sessions from Sum-1, GeoSuPhat and Der Basser grew. By the end of 2008 with a few hundred thousand torrent and direct downloads of our almost 20 free music releases, we decided it was time to give Togeo Music a home of its own.
I would also like to point out that we are making as many alternate formats available as possible for the music releases at Togeo Music, mp3 in higher quality 320kbs VBR format, Ogg Vorbis and Flac lossless audio are soon to be available as not only direct downloads but also as torrents. We have the entire catalog being completely uploaded to Mininova the worlds largest bittorrent tracker, as we speak. So we got the site pretty much finished now except for a few small things which should get done this week. Ok so now lets get down to the real news.
Sum-1 - Gloomfrex double cd coming out January 2008
Since the release of S1 (The Album), Sum-1 has been hard at work on his new extended release, an old school double cd called “Gloomfrex”. It amazes me sometimes how he finds the time to pump out not just a single release, but let alone a double album while designing three websites at the same time and throughout the Holidays.
Gloomfrex by Sum-1 (Tobias Peterson) is scheduled to be released this month, January 2008. The extended play release is a combination of experimental idm, breakcore, dubstep and a good amount of electronic glitch.
Keep an eye out for it in the coming weeks.
Its been a hectic new year so far but things are starting to fall into place and we are really excited about the future here at Togeo, stick around and see whats in the planning for 2009, you wont be dissaponted.
